X-LITE X-1005 ULTRA CARBON:

P / J HOMOLOGATION

The helmet can be used both with an open chin guard (configuration J) and with a closed chin guard (configuration P), as the protective chin guard passes the homologation tests required by the UN / ECE standard for full-face helmets. ULTRAWIDE VISOR The large surface of the visor, resistant to scratches (S / R - Scratch Resistant), makes it possible to have a greater view, even from the side, thus ensuring maximum driving comfort and increasing active safety.

INTERNAL VISOR RESISTANT TO PINLOCK® FOGGING

The patented adjustment system allows you to adjust the draft of the Pinlock®, acting from the outside of the visor, without having to disassemble it. The silicone profile, adopted under the Pinlock® license, allows, first of all, to increase the air gap between the outside and inside, thus reducing? further the risk of fogging and, secondly, to reduce the risk of scratches to the visor.

SUNSCREEN (VPS)

Printed in LEXAN ™ *, it provides S / R (scratch resistant) and F / R (fogging resistant) treatment and offers UV protection up to 400 nanometers. It can be easily disassembled for maintenance and cleaning and is adjustable in various positions. The drive system (patented) allows the automatic return to the non-use position, thus simplifying any emergency maneuvers deriving from the need to quickly restore the maximum visibility offered by the visor.

CHIN ROTATION WITH ELLIPTICAL TRAJECTORY

The rotational movement of the chin guard with an elliptical trajectory allows to contain the front section of the helmet when the chin guard is in the open position. As a result, the "sail" effect is significantly reduced and driving comfort equally guaranteed, even with the chin guard raised.

DUAL ACTION (PATENTED)

Exclusive chin guard opening system which, positioned in the center of the same, allows it to be opened with one hand. The double action mechanism reduces the risk of accidental opening: only after having operated the first release lever (or safety) is it possible to lift the chin guard by acting on the second lever.

"CARBON FITTING" COMFORT INTERIOR PADDING WITH INNOVATIVE NET CONSTRUCTION

The internal comfort padding is made with active carbon filaments, a thermoregulatory, antistatic and dissipative element. The cap, with an innovative mesh construction, facilitates the diffusion of air in the upper part of the head which, in this way, is kept cool and dry.

EYEWEAR ADAPTIVE

System designed for the comfort of those who wear glasses. Quickly and easily, it allows you to create a space in the pillow for the temples of the glasses. It is reversible, as it is possible to return the cheek pads to the initial configuration. To further facilitate washing, the cheek pads are equipped with internal foam padding that can be extracted from the fabric lining.

MICROLOCK2 (PATENTED)

It is a patented double lever retention system with micrometric adjustment. It consists of an ergonomic opening lever in thermoplastic material and a second, toothed and sealing, in aluminum. The toothed lever releases the micrometric band and it is therefore possible to open the chin strap only after the opening lever has made a very wide rotation. This arrangement reduces the possibility of involuntary opening.

N-COM PREPARATION

The helmet is set up and approved with the N-Com communication system installed. The helmet preparation system, as well as the N-Com product compatible with this, have been designed with the aim of facilitating the assembly of the system itself in the helmet.
