The position of the speakers in R1, positioned above the ears, is designed to allow you to listen to your music or the voice of the speaker without having to use headphones. This solution increases awareness of the surrounding environment. The built-in microphone featuring Advanced Noise Control ™, Sena's patented technology, transmits your voice in clear, interference-free sound quality.

Thanks to the Group Intercom ™ function you can talk to other cyclists wearing R1. Up to four people can stay connected and talk in a range of 900 meters.

By connecting your phone to R1 via Bluetooth, you can follow GPS directions, make phone calls, receive feedback from fitness apps and listen to your favorite music. The FM radio is already integrated into the helmet and you can easily tune in to local broadcasters.

R1 is built to withstand impacts and provides the necessary protection thanks to a polycarbonate shell with expanded polystyrene coating. The helmet is lined with removable and washable internal padding, has a soft faux leather strap with perfectly positioned chin guard and comfortable closure, all to ensure maximum protection and a comfortable fit.Optionally, it is possible to mount a visor to shelter from the sun (sold separately).

Thanks to the app it is very easy to have the functions of R1 always under control and it will be easy to manage the connection between a group of friends, store your favorite radio stations, access the Quick Start Guide and much more.
