The Arai CONCEPT-XE helmet is a full-face fiberglass helmet that harks back to the simple yet aggressive style of the 1980s, combined with the brand's modern performance. It's therefore ready for a generation of modern motorcyclists seeking a vintage style without sacrificing performance or comfort.

The lightweight yet durable PB e-cLc shell is designed to slide on surfaces and bounce off obstacles, which is why it features a smooth, rounded shape and is reinforced by a peripheral band. Arai's goal was to deflect the energy generated by a potential impact without creating dangerous snags, but rather distribute it over the largest possible surface area.

The helmet's sliding ability is optimized by the VAS-VC visor system, which, with its retro mechanical look, lowers the visor pivots to maximize the uniformity of the upper shell's shape.

The Free Flow ventilation system makes the CONCEPT-XE an extremely quiet helmet: an airflow is created inside it that reduces noise and turbulence and increases the extraction of hot air. The internal closure of the chin guard air intake, on the other hand, prevents debris from entering the helmet in dusty road conditions by opening and closing the chin guard air intake from the inside.
