SCHUBERTH’s safety-first approach ensures that our communication systems and accessories form an integral part of the helmet type-approval process. This means that all our helmets meet and exceed the stringent requirements of the ECE 22.06 standard, whether or not our communication systems are fitted. Consequently, you can rest assured that your SCHUBERTH helmet always complies with safety standards, even when using the SCHUBERTH SC EDGE ANC or any other SCHUBERTH accessory.

NOISE CONTROL

Developed in collaboration with Cardo, using SCHUBERTH’s proprietary calibration and fine-tuning for the C5 ANC, the SC Edge ANC system specifically targets wind noise and turbulence that cause fatigue and potential long-term hearing damage to the motorcyclist, whilst retaining essential sounds such as engine noise and emergency sounds such as horns and sirens.

This proprietary filtration system ensures that motorcyclists can retain the sounds they need to hear for passive safety, whilst eliminating noises that cause distraction and hearing damage. All this with a clear objective: control the noise, enjoy the ride.

A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM DEVELOPED WITH CARDO

At the heart of this revolutionary C5 ANC lies the SC Edge ANC communication system. This is a communication unit that adds ANC noise reduction to the features of our SC Edge communication system. This intercom system also offers reliable group communication thanks to second-generation DMC Mesh technology, Bluetooth 5.2, voice control, over-the-air software updates and a range of up to 1.6 km.
